Washington D.C. Labor Weekend.

Ok,

Leaving from L.B.C this past Thursday to D.C. was pretty exciting. Though, I don't enjoy plane rides as much anymore. Anyways, the last time I posted, I said I was going to open sets. Well I did. Just one. LOL. That whole time I was there in D.C. I opened up one set by myself. It was at a club down in Georgetown called FLY. It was pretty cool, airplane theme, with the bartenders dressed as stewardist (spelling?). I love the mixture of the crowd. The walkway was this aisle bigger than an actual planes' aisle. So, my friend and I go down towards the end of the club near the restrooms and to my right was the bar. We were chilling, and looking around to feel the crowd. After a few minutes of just looking around, I went to "lounge" at the bar with my back leaning against the bar, so I can get a good look all around. To my right, this girl and her friends were laughing at some guy who was dancing ridiculously stupid, of course its for attention. So I turn to the girl to my right and say,

"Is he your entertainment tonight?" joking around.
HB7 goes on saying, "yeah" and starts laughing. I go around to tell her, "You girls, need to tell him to stop. lol. " ..."You girls are bad"...

Then after awhile, of chit chatting with her, she goes on and tell her to friends what she was telling me. So those two friends starting talking to me. I didn't know what else to say so i ejected early saying that, "Well, I'm going to stand over there cause he's embarrasing himself." So I left, I guess hoping the girls would agree also and follow me. Guess not. lol. Hmm..I'm so newbie. Oh well, I'm still learning.

I think one thing that killed my night was that there was a lot of pressure for me opening because my friend said for me to open 10 sets. He kept pressuring and pressuring me. I know its just an excuse, I could have opened ten sets, but it just killed the mood when it was on my mind. I know that I should had fun without thinking about it. I thought about it too much. I'm going not say anything about gaming when I go out. Just let it flow. Keeping the game slightly in the back of my mind.

You were chit-chatting for a while but still talking about the dancing guy? That's the "Death Star"... don't get sucked in by its tractor beams! Make the conversation personal within 90 seconds -- make it about YOU and HER. Ask an open-ended question and 'vacuum' until you get an answer.

And don't worry about opening 10 sets. Walk into the bar, go get your drink and start talking to guys, married couples, whoever. Get into that talkative vibe. If you go right for the hot girls and get blown out because you're not warmed up, every other girl in the bar will see it happen.
