FR: El Torito

I finally decided to hang out tonigt with a buddy and his girl from work. Went to El Torito in Irvine, and wanted to work on my social skills with the group of friends that I didn't know. All of em were the gf's ex coworkers. Whatever. To my fucking surprise this HBasiancutie8 was there that I notice at work all the time. She was there with her bf who knew my friends gf through work...small world. I was pretty much laid back the whole night with my buddy. Got a couple of drinks so I wasn't feeling shy or anything its just I didn't have anything to say much because they were all friends. I was trying to find something I can relate to. I keep looking at the HBasiancutie8, she knows that I work with her...we're on differen't floors. I talked to her once in an elevator.

DS: Hey, how tall are you?
HBasiancutie8: (smiling) I'm 4'10"
DS: Cool... my exgirlfriend was that tall. (she really is).

At that time I was thinking to myself she gets that a lot. Anyways...I notice her looking at me everynow and then while her BF was there. I notice that she's really into her BF - making funny faces, and being affectionate towards him. I don't care kept on trying to talk to other girls in the group. HBlatina8 is getting loud and asking me what I'm planning to drink...I tell her "duh..water!"...jokingly. Well conversing with the group wasn't that all great..didn't really converse at all...with them, they were into each other too much. I should have introduced myself to everyone and have that warm vibe. Gotta work on that. I keep noticing the HBasiancutie8 looking at me...sometimes smiling? I'm not really sure, I felt she was trying not to look at me. Later that night as HBasiancutie8 left with her BF, she said by to everyone and me with a big smile..She's just really nice. I'll talk to her tomorrow at work and see where that goes.
