FR: Santa Monica @ the SPACE

Friday 6/8/06

My AFC buddy, K, invites me to go to Santa Monica with him. This place called the Space. I was down to go cause I needed to get out more to sarge. K knows about the community, but isn't really active. We get to hollywood area, and we're so going in the wrong direction of where we ought to be. Whatevers. We arrive pretty late....around midnight. A cover band is playing. I like the music, cause it was eighties and nineties stuff. K doesn't know jack about the type of music. We come in and we see our friend that invited K. We go talk to her and she's really a UGasian. She's dressed in a red polo shirt, jeans, and puma sneakers. Really tom boyish. UGasian introduces me to her friend HBasian4or5? I don't know she's whatevers. K - afc that he is...isn't a great wingman. He doesn't even introduce me to everyone. So I make my introductions. I meet birthday guy, girl friend of HBasian4or5. They're cool I guess, so they're dancing, and songs come up and I get a little wild cause its more fun that way. The girls start laughing cause I was so into it I guess. I had a long island. NOT REALLY able to get a good buzz. So I faked it. Gave myself Super HIGH ENERGY. There was at least one girl that was hot enough to say she was an HB. She was standing next to me and obviously part of the group. I look at her and she looks at me..I give her the "who the hell are you look"...we stare each other down...I give a smirk...and give my name. I'll call her HBasian8. Don't know whether the guy she was with was her bf or not. She has a nose ring and can dance. Its sexy.
Nothing really happened...the group just danced..and I just danced alongside the group. Pretty pathetic. But it doesn't phase me. After it was over around 2 - we went outside to chit chat.
As K and I were talking with HBasian4or5, UGasian, and girl friend of HBasian4or5 - I make the group laugh. Owning the conversation - HBasian8 comes next to me and just stands there and looks at everyone and me.

DS: Just say yes and nod..that's all you have to do.
HBasian8: MMmnm..hmm..
HBasian8: So how do you know each other (pointing to K)
DS: Oh, we're highschool sweethearts. Its really cool to find someone you can hang out with for such a long time.
HBasian8: (laughs). She looks at me like who is this guy. She's pretty fucked up (buzzed/drunk)

I tell her how we got lost, and asks her where she's from - Glendale. The rest of it was just fluff. We leave and I make some outrageous comments about how the lights are turning off in the streets. I hug HBasian4or5, and her girl friend, and UGasian. Just being nice. Find out later HBasian8 is single.

Work On:
Give off Sexual and Friendly VIBE early on.
I really need to take a workshop with SIC or Charisma Arts.
I just realize I need feedback from real PUA's. So i'm going in blindly.
Don't be the goofy guy who dances with all the girls? Should I? He obviously doesn't get laid.
Hopefully there's more results next FR. keep you guys posted.
